The threat of violence will not automatically subside either; it will be crucial to remain vigilant in the weeks following Election Day and beyond. Unlike prior setbacks this year, the advantage we have now is that we can plan for November 3. Proper preparation will help navigate Election Day perils, the most serious being the potential for post-election violence threatening life and property.
