Andres Franzetti joins NSBA Leadership Council to help build a more resilient small business community.

Washington, D.C. August 31, 2021 -Andres Franzetti, CEO and Co-founder of Risk Cooperative, was recently named to the National Small Business Association (NSBA) Leadership Council. The NSBA is the nation’s oldest non-partisan small-business advocacy organization. Mr. Franzetti, a recognized leader in Washington’s small-business community, joins the NSBA Leadership Council alongside other advocates from across the country as they work to promote the interests of small organizations to federal policymakers.

“As the founder and owner of a minority small-business, I have experienced first-hand the many challenges small businesses face while trying to survive the critical early years, from access to capital and navigating regulatory and compliance mandates, to emerging risks like cyber,” stated Mr. Franzetti. “Joining NSBA’s Leadership Council will provide an important platform to raise awareness and support for small businesses around these issues. Working closely with Congress, the NSBA will enable us to create viable solutions and further bolster the resilience of the small business community, which helps drive our broader economic prosperity.”

Founded in 2014 by Andres Franzetti and a team of risk and insurance executives, Risk Cooperative is one of the fastest growing insurance brokerage firms in the industry, licensed in all 50 states, D.C. and Puerto Rico. Risk Cooperative is a minority-owned and operated firm, globally recognized in the fields of risk, resilience, cyber security and economic competitiveness, helping organizations access risk mitigation tools to solve complex and emerging risks.

Mr. Franzetti joined the NSBA Leadership Council as part of his efforts to help build a more resilient small business community and provide solutions to the many complex challenges facing this group today, including economic development, regulatory affairs, cyber and privacy laws, as well as bridging the growing insurance gap. The NSBA Leadership Council is focused on providing valuable networking between small-business advocates from across the country while ensuring small business a seat at the table as Congress and regulators take up key small-business proposals.

“I am proud to have Andres Franzetti as part of our Leadership Council,” stated NSBA President and CEO Todd McCracken. “He came to us highly recommended and I look forward our coordinated efforts for years to come.”
