She has worked across industry sectors helping provide insurance and risk mitigation consultations, program development, insurance brokerage activities, policy administration, and claims handling.

Prior to joining Risk Cooperative, Maria worked for one of the largest privately held insurance brokerages in the Washington D.C. metro area. In this role she assisted large multi-national organizations with insurance placements, global program management, and other complex risk issues. She brings best in class business effectiveness expertise as well as project management via the development of key protocols, and procedures for account management.
