Alex serves as a premier benefits consultant, providing quantitative and qualitative analysis of insurance carriers, products, with expertise in eligibility, billing, and employee benefit administration technology. His insight and strategies help employers of all sizes contain costs and protect the employee wellbeing.

Alex Emmons is the Vice President of Employee Benefits at Risk Cooperative. He brings nearly two decades of sales and customer service experience to the team, plus more than twelve years of work specializing in employee benefits. Alex is licensed in Life & Health, excelling at guiding employers toward solutions that achieve their goals of containing costs and protecting the wellbeing of their employees.

Prior to joining Risk Cooperative, Alex worked as Director of Regional Broker Sales for Kelly Benefits, one of the nation’s largest benefits brokers, where he fine-tuned his skills navigating the complex world of benefits eligibility, billing, administration, compliance, technology, and service. His professional background also includes experience in real estate, banking, and hotel management.

Alex’s insight from working with more than fifty insurance carriers and multitude of employers across size and industry, enables him to optimize plan designs for each client. Furthermore, Alex’s rigorous quantitative and qualitative analysis of carriers, products, and premiums provides Risk Cooperative clients with a competitive edge in the challenging arena of talent recruitment and retention.

Based in Washington D.C., Alex holds a B.A. in English from Colorado College.
